Our founder, Robert 'TVBob' Walton, is a Kingman native. His family has been part of the fabric of Northwest Arizona since the 1800s. That is not marketing language. It means that when TVBob tells you a story about Oatman, Sitgreaves Pass, or the Grand Canyon Basin, he is drawing from generational knowledge that no amount of guidebook study can replicate.

TVBob brought his television personality and storytelling skills from a career at KMOH TV6 to a new stage. He founded Desert Wonder Tours LLC on November 11, 2017 and has been taking guests on life-changing experiences ever since.

Our guides are hand-picked for their knowledge and passion. Brandon Dubuc, our lead guide, was honored with the 2024 Lloyd Shires Tourism Award at the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce Community Achievement Awards. That recognition reflects the standard we set for every single tour.

We keep our groups small. We offer hotel pickup from Laughlin and Lake Havasu City. We go to places that big bus tours cannot reach. And we never treat a tour like a transaction. For us, it truly is not the tour. It is the experience.
