Get to Know Robert “TVBob” Walton
Desert Wonder Adventures was founded on Veterans Day, November 11, 2017, by Robert “TVBob” Walton. A Kingman, Arizona native with family roots in the region dating back to the late 1800s, Bob's great-great-great-grandfather John Cofer homesteaded 160 acres in Old Town Kingman and hand-dug the town's first well at 75 feet depth.
A former TV personality with Gannett's KMOH TV6, Bob brings his quick wit and warm sense of humor to every tour, making guests feel instantly at home. As a child, Bob explored the desert terrain on horseback (his pony, Apache) and pursued dirt biking adventures in the Kingman mountains.
Beyond running the business, Bob serves as Treasurer of the Mohave County Fairgrounds Association, VFW Men's Auxiliary President, Kingman Tourist Commission member, and Posse Member with the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.
