Founded on Veterans Day 2017 by Robert “TVBob” Walton, a Kingman native with ancestral roots dating back to the 1800s, Desert Wonder Adventures was born from a deep love of the Arizona desert and its incredible stories.
Our van-based tours offer a personal, intimate experience with local expert guides who truly live and breathe this landscape. We keep our groups small so every guest feels like they belong, not just a face in a crowd.

Mon – Sun, 7 AM – 8 PM
We pick up guests from Laughlin, NV, Kingman, AZ, and Lake Havasu City, AZ. Hotel pickup and return service is available from most hotels and casinos in all three cities. Just let us know your location when you book.
Call us at (928) 716-2046 Monday through Sunday from 7 AM to 8 PM, or use our online contact form. We will confirm your booking and pickup details personally. Gift cards are also available.
Tours range from 4.5 hours (Twilight Wine and Stargazing) to 7.5 hours (Emerald Cave Kayaking). Most full-day tours run 5 to 7 hours. Half-day options are available. Duration includes hotel pickup and return.
All tours include comfortable van transportation and a knowledgeable local guide. Depending on your tour, additional inclusions may be: hotel pickup, lunch, park admission, kayak equipment, horseback ride, or wine and distillery tastings. See each tour page for full details.
Many tours welcome all ages, including families with young children. Some tours have age minimums: Emerald Cave Kayaking (ages 8+), Joshua Tree Horseback Ride (ages 9+), Hoover Dam (ages 9+), and wine/stargazing tours (ages 21+). Check the individual tour page for requirements.
Yes. We offer private tours for couples, families, and groups, as well as custom tours tailored to your specific interests. Contact us directly to discuss options and pricing for a personalized desert adventure.
We recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses. Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes. For kayaking tours, bring a change of clothes. For stargazing, bring a light jacket as desert temperatures drop at night.
We understand plans change. Contact us at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or cancel. Call (928) 716-2046 and we will work with you to find an alternative date or issue a refund based on our cancellation terms.
