Desert Wonder Tours Takes Visitors to the Grand Canyon's Floor

Most Grand Canyon tours take you to the rim and point down. Desert Wonder Adventures' Grand Canyon Basin tour takes you all the way to the Colorado River itself.

Featured in the Laughlin Entertainer Magazine, our Grand Canyon Basin tour is a 6 to 7 hour journey that follows Historic Route 66 through Kingman, descends into the canyon basin, and arrives at the shores of the Colorado River. From there, the canyon walls rise on both sides as you stand at the bottom of one of the world's great geological wonders.

The drive itself is spectacular, passing through Crozier Canyon on old Route 66, where the road winds through towering rock formations that seem to have been carved by an artist. Our guides share the geological and human history of every landmark along the way.

The tour includes a meal at a local restaurant, giving you time to reflect on the day before the return journey. It is appropriate for all ages and departs from Laughlin, Lake Havasu City, and Kingman.
